This 3-star family campsite overlooks the river Ardeche and is located a few kms from the famous Pont d Arc.
So come along: put up your tent/caravan or rent one of our mobile-homes if you enjoy walking, sunbathing and swimming. Make sure you will be welcomed, from April to September, in a friendly atmosphere at the camping.

The camping Le Clapas is a small camping (85 pitches) in a exceptional location for families and nature lovers.

On the right bank of the river, in the village of Salavas, in front of Vallon Pont d'Arc, Le Clapas is installed along the water at the entrance of the Gorges of Ardèche.
The road ("le chemin de la Vernède") that leads you to the campsite has its end... at the campsite: no traffic for more quietness and security.

The camp, created in 1981, has a magnificent vegetation and many trees to ensure a natural shade.

The bar, the bakery, the little grossery, the WIFI zone, the touristic details, the entertainment program: everything is available in the reception area at the entrance of the campsite.

The large private beach of the "camping Le Clapas", on the river "Ardeche", is an important highlight: all pitches (camping ou mobile-home) have a "pieton" access to the bathing area.

Finally, various playgrounds: "petanque", table tennis, volleyball, children's playground...

The "Clapas" is a real "Nature campsite", on the banks of the river, with modern and quality facilities.
